Rag Quilt Raffle

The USERL - Central Piedmont is doing a quilt raffle.

A volunteer has made this beautiful rag quilt to raffle off as a fundraiser to help our horses!

The quilt is 64" x 81" (5'4" x 6'9").

Raffle tickets are available for $1 each or 6 for $5.

The quilt will be on display at upcoming fundraising events.

The drawing will be held at the Woofin' and Hoofin' Fall Fest on September 12, 2010 at Latta Equestrian Park in Huntersville, NC

In Home Wine Tasting Raffle

The USERL Central Piedmont is raffling off a Gift Certificate for a private, in home wine tasting.
The bearer of the gift certificate will be entitled to a Private Wine Tasting for 2 hours for up to 12 people (over 21).
Includes 8 bottles of wine and a wine consultant Valued at $350.00
Needs used by 09/01/10 in NC

Come join us for a Fall Festival and an Equestrian Poker Run through Latta Plantation Park, located at 6201 Sample Road, Huntersville, NC 28078, on Sunday, September 12th from 9 am to 4 pm. We will have pony rides for the children, and experts who will demonstrate a variety of skills with both dogs and horses. Cash prizes for Best and Worst Hand for the Poker Run. Bring your own horse or Latta Equestrian Center will allow you to use one of their horses on a first come, first serve basis for an additional $25 fee. Mark your calendars now and come join us for food, fun and festivities! More detailed information to come as we are still in the planning stages for this event!

The US Equine Rescue League (USERL) - Central Piedmont Region will be holding a fundraiser at the Matthews Township Grill on Tuesday - May 11th from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
The USERL will earn 25% of the food sales for the evening and 100% of the tips, so PLEASE come out to dinner and bring all of your friends!
This is always a great, fun, and easy way to make money for the horses and they sure need it right now!!!!
