Historic Simonton Place Home and Barn Tour
Historic Simonton Place Home and Barn Tour, to benefit the U.S. Equine Rescue League, will take place on Saturday, April 17, from 10 AM - 2 PM at 2030 Simonton Rd. in Statesville, NC. The pre-Revolutionary home is one of the oldest in Iredell County and the original site of the County Courthouse and Jail. Come and enjoy the beautiful grounds, with trees in full bloom, as costumed interpreters take you back in time to the 1700’s. Meet some of the wonderful horses that the USERL has rescued from neglect and abuse as you tour the barn and pastures. Watch a Horse Training Exhibition, taste some Local Wines, and do a little shopping at the Silent Auction. Concessions available. Advance tickets: $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. Animal Art Show Friday - May 14th
Animal Art Show to benefit the US Equine Rescue League - Central Piedmont Region.
Tullulah's on 102 North Broad Street in Mooresville, NC is partnering with the USERL - Central Piedmont to bring you an Animal Art Show on the second Friday of May (the 14th) to coincide with the Mooresville Art Walk.
Come out, look at some beautiful art work of horses and animals, maybe find the piece you have been searching for! The USERL Rein-oirs will also be available for purchase and hopefully a USERL mascot will be there to greet the guests.
All proceeds will go to the US Equine Rescue League - Central Piedmont Region.
There will be at least 3 wineries at Tullulah's that evening for wine tasting.
There will be a silent auction and raffle to benefit the rescue horses.
