Historic Simonton Place Home and Barn Tour

Historic Simonton Place Home and Barn Tour, to benefit the U.S. Equine Rescue League, will take place on Saturday, April 17, from 10 AM - 2 PM at 2030 Simonton Rd. in Statesville, NC. The pre-Revolutionary home is one of the oldest in Iredell County and the original site of the County Courthouse and Jail. Come and enjoy the beautiful grounds, with trees in full bloom, as costumed interpreters take you back in time to the 1700’s. Meet some of the wonderful horses that the USERL has rescued from neglect and abuse as you tour the barn and pastures. Watch a Horse Training Exhibition, taste some Local Wines, and do a little shopping at the Silent Auction. Concessions available. Advance tickets: $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors.
